How to take care of your timepiece

Nowadays people mostly use watches as a fashion accessory. Watches are becoming status symbol and which is telling something about your lifestyle. Here are some tips on how knowledge that we have gathered through years of using different timepieces, to ensure that your timepiece is in perfect condition.
Avoid contact with chemicals

Always take off your watch before exposing your watch to chemicals like soap, detergents, cosmetics and perfumes. They can create a coating to form, bringing a dull and faded surface on your timepiece.

Wait until cream or perfume dry completely on your skin before wearing your jewelery. 

Take off watch before entering any swimming pools and spas. Chlorinated water can react with the metals found in jewelry causing color changes and even structural damage.

Service your watch

Watches are made of many components that work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It certainly deserves a great amount of attention. Ideally our quartz watches should be serviced every three years by professionals. 

Also it is recommended to clean your watch with soft cloth.

DO NOT open timepiece yourself, as it can expose it to dust, dirt, and other particles that can get inside the mechanism.

Avoid scratches

When performing hands-on tasks, remove your jewellery to prevent any physical damage.

DO NOT wear your bracelets on the same wrist. Wrist jewelry might scratch either the sides or the glass of your watch.
